Comments:

Sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger and the University of Pennsylvania’s Fox Leadership Program, Civic House, and Project on Civic Engagement. This half-day event will begin to assemble a “Fresh Food Agenda” for Philadelphia. Mayoral candidates Michael Nutter and Al Taubenberger will respond to comments offered by the opening panelists, who will describe best practices now emerging in New York City. Concurrent workshops will focus on local initiatives to improve access to fresh, healthy food in federal nutrition programs, institutions, businesses, and nonprofits, with the objective of identifying two or three that could have measurable impact on nutritional quality, access, and affordability. Please register to Jill Beaumont at jbeaumont@hungercoalition.org or 215-430-0555 x 119.

green please foollw the link on the FOP Lodge #5 endorsement. It can also be found on the Northeast Times and the Inquirer. Since the 170th District encompasses part of Philadelphia and Montgomery counties, there are two separate FOP's present.
