Global Forum: Women & HIV
Date: June 14 (Thu)
Time: 4:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: The Wistar Institute, 3601 Spruce Street

Description: The growing feminization of the AIDS pandemic will be discussed by exploring the gender inequality underlying rising incidence rates among women and girls.

Please join us for 3 workshops examining global policies, conditions for women in Sub-Saharan Africa, and transgender health followed by a presentation and discussion by C.H.A.N.G.E (Center for Health and Gender Equity) on the critical campaign: Women Won't Wait! This campaign calls attention to the intersection between rising HIV/AIDS among women and gender-based violence and demands global funding accountability to support programs that address this relationship. This event is free.

Advanced registration is required. Please RSVP online at www.fight.org/aem or call
215.985.4448, ext. 250.
