Strategies for Working with Interpreters

This training is for staff who regularly provide or will be providing services through the use of interpreters. It gives the participants:
perspective on the cultural issues and competencies that affect outcomes of interpreted interviews with clients
knowledge of what to expect when working with trained interpreters
guidance for working with untrained interpreters (to protect the provider and comply with the law) general do's and don'ts for working with interpreters, both trained and untrained.
